My daughter began taking classes 6 years ago at Academy of Dance. From day one she felt
as if she was a part of something special. The students were extremely welcoming and the director and teachers are highly skilled and truly love what they do. My husband and I are
both impressed by the exceptional way that the teachers work with the dancers to help them
be the best that they can possibly be, whether working with them as a group or individually.
I have watched my daughter grow in so many ways from being a part to such a wonderful
dance studio, not only as a dancer but as a person….she calls Academy of Dance her home
away from home…..her second family.

My six year old daughter is in her fourth year at Academy of Dance. As a mother who has no dance background, I have felt extremely comfortable and welcome at AOD. I am extremely pleased with the way AOD instructors create a loving and supportive atmosphere while also holding the girls to high expectations of performance and behavior. There is no wasted time during class. My daughter has gained confidence and teamwork skills while also learning important beginning dance techniques and styles. AOD provides superior dance programs without the superior attitude. You and your family will feel welcome and appreciated.
As a parent, you hope that your child will not only does well, but find enjoyment in what she does. When we were weighing our options for a summer activity, my best friend suggested that I look into the AOD Summer Camp. I was concerned that since my daughter had stopped taking dance lessons from another studio, that she would be intimidated by the abilities of girls her age that had continued their studies. I was more than pleasantly surprised! She was excited to go each day, and provided little performances each evening for our family! The kindness and caring that the staff showed my child were beyond compare. She gained a confidence that she had not shown before, and the confidence has carried through to the this school year. She is now enrolled in one class, and can hardly wait to get there each week. My daughter is enrolled in Academy of Dance and she loves going to dance class and has learned so much in just three years. They staff only wonderfully talented teachers and it certainly shows through the students. I am truly amazed at the amount of effort and coordination that goes into the end of year recital; they put on a stunning performance!
