It’s that time of year when we begin thinking about what our children can do over summer break. The Academy of Dance offers a wonderful 5 week Theater Dance camp for dancer’s ages 6 – 12. Camp begins June 21st and will end July 23^rd.

 

This is a performance-oriented camp in which every child will play an important part. Dance camp always builds self-esteem and camaraderie. No role is too small. 

 

Classes will run from 9:00am until 4pm with extended day being offered from 8-9 and 4-5pm.

 

Our camp features daily combinations of dance technique and choreography in various disciplines. We will also have voice and drama lessons.

 

In addition to all of this, our program will offer musical theater workshops providing an overview of all aspects of putting on a musical production. Also included will be craft projects, stage makeup lessons, costume design and field trips. 

 

Your child will not only have a terrific time, but will truly learn something in the process.
